All students receiving a Marcia Brady Tucker Travel Award from AOU for the 2008 Portland meeting must book accommodation in the meeting hotel. The organizing committee and AOU recognize that the hotel rooms are more expensive than other student housing options. To reduce this expense, students can share rooms. The cost of a shared room is actually lower than the cost of other student housing options. A "Roommates Wanted" matching service will be available for students wishing to share a room, but cannot find a roommate on their own.
